Asian Cultural Event 2018. Pakistani Coke Studio sensation Asim Azhar made his unforgettable Saudi Arabia debut in a sold out concert at Sahel Land Park in Riyadh on Friday, 4th May 2018. Pakistani pop star Asim Azhar enthralled his audience in his first ever live concert held here.
It was organized as Asian Cultural Event by the Events Arena supported by Shamail Al Khaleej in association with the Elixir Entertainment.
The heartbeat of millions of music fans is also a TV actor and has a large fan following notably teenagers which saw the venue jam-packed with fans craving to get a glimpse of their superstar.
Many of the international event companies and celebrities are focusing on Saudi Arabia as their next station as nearly 5,000 entertainment programs have been registered with the General
Entertainment Authority (GEA) for the year 2018 only.
Asim Azhar is popularly known as the man behind hits such as Tera Woh Pyar in Coke Studio and has been recently appearing in numerous TV commercials as a face of leading international brands.
The venue was overloaded with fans screaming their lungs out for the future of Pakistani music. Asim Azhar’s mother Gul E Rana who’s a popular TV actress in Pakistan was also there at the event and was warmly welcomed by ladies and
children who didn’t miss the chance to get some selfies with the popular mother-son duo.
The event was organized by a Saudi Arabia based organization called Events Arena. CEO: Mr. Athar Shah, President: Mr. Salman Waheed, Event Head/Creative Head: Mr. Shiraz Alam & Operation Manager: Mr. Adnan Waheed congratulated the community and applauded their team for the wonderful response and cooperation. They look forward to blessing Riyadh with another surprise very soon.
The open-air venue of the concert witnessed hundreds of Asim’s fans gathered hours before his arrival. There was a burst of colorful lights and electrifying sounds by the DJUK. The concert began with the sensational performances by the local artists including Aaqib, Waseem Rafique,
Zalouj – The Band and few others.
Asim, performing for the first time in Saudi Arabia, he thrilled and captivated the hearts of his fans and music lovers by performing most of his hit tracks. The tempo of the numbers got the crowd dancing to the beat and it proved to be a rocking performance.

Speaking exclusively to SG, Asim said, “I am overwhelmed and still can’t get over the love and affection I have received in
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I am leaving this place with nothing but good memories. Hoping to be back very soon.”
Asim’s mother Gul-e-Rana, a famous Pakistani TV artist, accompanied him for the very first time for any of the international concert. She said, “She is so happy
at every success of her son and she is so glad to visit Saudi Arabia.”
Asian Cultural Event was packed with palpable excitement and had different shades of fun including the fusion of Asian and Mid-Eastern food stalls and lots of attractions for the kids including the gaming and playing zones.
Events Arena on the successful event gives credit to supporting members and volunteers, Faisal Mir, Hamza Sheikh, Hasan Khalil, Bilal Mir and Usama Habib of Al Sahil Park did their best to make this event possible.

Sandwiches to VIP’s, anyhow Tea, Water & Soft Drinks were distributed free among the crowd during the event.
